Maintaining the normal function of our immune system depends, on the one hand, on the amount of "good" intestinal bacteria, and on the other hand, depends on the supply of various nutrients.

OMNi-LOGiC IMMUN offers a food source for the proliferation of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli – mainly resistant starch, as well as valuable vitamins, minerals and trace elements, to maintain normal immune system function.

Resistant starch stimulates fermentation and thus causes:

• Reproduction of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli
• Production of short-chain fatty acids (such as butyrate) for more energy
• Increased stool volume = improved transmission

It contains B vitamins (vitamins B2 and B3) which contribute, among other things, to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes, and vitamin D and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

The innovative combination of the latest generation fibers from ACACIA extract has a positive effect on the production of butyrate (the main source of energy for our intestinal mucosa) as well as on the growth of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. Specially selected resistant starch contributes to the growth of stool and thus helps to properly empty the bowel.

It can contribute to the reduction of symptoms in ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, but also after medical tests for mucosal recovery (colonoscopy).

In addition to tasks such as digesting food and eliminating indigestible substances, our intestines are of great importance to our immune system. About 80% of immune cells are found in the gut. Our organism and the bacteria that inhabit it form a symbiosis throughout our lives. Certain bacteria in the gut, mostly bifidobacteria i lactobacilli produce, among other things, butyrate (salts of butanoic acid, short-chain fatty acids) which is the primary source of energy for our intestinal epithelium. If this epithelium is well supplied, it can perform its various functions, which include the absorption of nutrients as well as defense against toxins and pathogens. If butyrate levels fall, a change occurs in the intestinal mucosa and our intestinal barrier is weakened.
