Application Papilocare-a is recommended for women (over the age of 18) infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV), regardless of whether they have lesions caused by the virus (ASCUS - atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance or LSIL - low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions).

Papilocare® is a gel that works by creating a layer on the mucous membrane of the cervix, forming a defensive barrier to prevent the risk of HPV integration. In this way, the integration of HPV is interrupted, the formation of new lesions and also helps the re-epithelialization of existing lesions.

It also stimulates the restoration of the microbiota of the uterus.

What is in Papilocare® gel?

• Ingredients that enable the formation of a mucoadhesive gel on the mucous membrane of the cervix and
  vagina, creating a protective layer that stimulates the defensive action of the product.
• Hyaluronic acid niosomes with moisturizing effect to maintain tissue elasticity.
• Niosomes of ß-glucan whose antioxidant properties maintain structure and naturalness
  skin and mucosal functionality.
• Phytosomes of gotu kola (Centella asiatica) that act on the recovery of damaged mucosa.
• Coriolus versicolor mushroom extract with the effect of re-epithelialization and healing of lesions and
  cervical and vaginal microlesions.
• Neem plant extract with an emulsifying effect that promotes the natural healing process.
• BioEcolia®, a prebiotic that promotes the growth of good bacteria and balances the microbiota in

How to use

The treatment lasts 6 months, and if necessary longer, according to the doctor's instructions. To achieve the desired results, it is important to complete the total duration of treatment.

It is recommended to start treatment after menstruation.
First month: One applicator is applied daily for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day break.
Subsequent months (second to sixth): One applicator is applied every other day for 21 days.

HOW TO APPLYVATI PAPILOCARE®
Papilocare® is available as a single-dose applicator for intrauterine use. All applicators that are opened or damaged should be thrown away. The applicator is designed for easier application of the product. Before application, lie on your back. Insert the applicator into the vagina and press and squeeze out the contents of the applicator. Remove the applicator from the vagina while still pressing the applicator
so as not to suck back the product just applied.

It is possible that a small amount of gel remains in the applicator. This does not mean that the applied dose is less than the recommended one, because the amount released from the applicator is sufficient to cover the mucous membrane of the cervix and vagina (3 ml). After use, the applicator should be thrown away. The applicator must not be reused or shared with other patients.

The only adverse event reported post-marketing is irritation after application, with a frequency not exceeding 1 in 10 cases. This reaction is more common in women with a very sensitive or significantly damaged genital area or in postmenopausal patients who have a high vaginal pH (pH 000). If this happens,
dilute the dose (every 3 days) and consult a doctor.
