What DEXERYL® cream is used for
As a protective cream for the treatment of signs and symptoms of dry skin (xerosis), especially in various skin diseases (such as atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis…).
How DEXERYL® cream affects the skin
Dexeryl The cream is formulated to treat the signs and symptoms of dry skin (xerosis):
- The effect of white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin which is the formation of a film which:
• physically inhibits evaporation and thus prevents dehydration (water loss)
• has a barrier effect against external damage
In addition, the hydrating effect of glycerol helps maintain moisture balance in the skin. Due to its formulation, DEXERYL® cream also reduces and helps prevent irritation.
How to use
The cream is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of cream to the area of skin being treated once or twice a day, or more often if needed, but never more than 6 times a day. Always close the tube tightly after use.

When not to use DEXERYL® cream: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Due to the lack of relevant data, it is better not to use the cream together with other products that are applied to the skin. If you are unsure, consult a healthcare professional for advice.
Warnings and special instructions for use:
• Do not apply to wounds, mucous membranes and eyes.
• Do not swallow.
• Keep out of reach of children.
