Liposomal vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate

Considering that it is Sangreen liposomal vitamin C, the first registered liposomal product in Croatia, you may not have heard of liposomal technology used to increase the absorption of nutrients. Liposomal vitamin C has advantages in bioavailability over traditional oral vitamin C (non-liposomal).

To better explain this process, we present some key data.

Liposomes are so-called carriers or carriers of active substances produced using liposomal encapsulation technology. Due to their similarity to biological membranes and their ability to enter cells, they are used as carriers for medicinal substances and vitamins. Liposomes are microscopic particles in the form of bubbles that form a membrane composed of phospholipids.

Phospholipids radically increase absorption

Phospholipids are:

  • Building blocks cell membrane blocks
  • Regulators of cellular passage of substances, have the role of "gatekeeper"
  • Protects cell membranes from free radical attacks

Research clearly shows that liposomal vitamin C is one of the best and most appropriate ways to supplement your diet with oral vitamin C.

Why do liposomal absorption have great benefits?

Traditional oral vitamin C does not benefit from the bioavailability of liposome technology. Liposomal absorption is quite different from absorption from the intestinal tract.

Intestinal absorption

  • In order for food and nutrients to be utilized, your digestive system needs to break them down first
  • Only when they break down into smaller fragments can your body absorb them
  • After the nutrients are broken down, they enter the bloodstream and your body can use them

Liposome absorption

  • Tiny particles coated with phospholipids form vitamin C molecules coated with a substance similar to cell walls
  • Phospholipid-coated vitamin C molecules can be more easily absorbed
  • Liposomal technology helps reduce potential gastrointestinal problems that may accompany upper levels of traditional oral vitamin C

BENEFITS OF SANGREEN LIPOSOMAL VITAMIN C

  1. Liposomal absorption - due to its bioavailability and gastrointestinal protection, liposomal vitamin C has a significant advantage compared to classical vitamin C.
  2. It contains a higher dose than traditional oral vitamin C. - The recommended daily dose of 5 ml contains 1000 mg of vitamin C in the form of sodium and potassium ascorbate, which is 1250% of the recommended daily intake.
  3. Contains non-GMO sunflower lecithin with 45% fasfatidylcholine - Lecithin is an emulsifier needed so that the content of vitamin C is not separated. Many manufacturers use soy lecithin.
  4. Contains high quality pure ingredients - Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is produced in the EU, unlike most on the market from China. Antioxidant is a natural vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol), potassium sorbate is a natural preservative.
  5. Safety and quality - Manufacturer's certificates: ISO 22000: 2005 (HACCP, Food Safety Management System) guarantees that the products do not pose a risk due to inadequate safety, quality or effectiveness. The product has been laboratory tested and registered as a dietary supplement.
