Product Description

If you are planning a pregnancy, are pregnant or breastfeeding, you can only do it once Novalac with a prenatal capsule a day to meet the daily needs for all the key nutrients you need for the healthy development of your baby.

Active folic acid Quatrefolic® it is the latest, the fourth generation of folic acid.

In order for folic acid to work, it must be converted into an active form in the body.

Since every second woman has poor folic acid metabolism, it is beneficial to take folic acid in its active form. Novalac prenatal capsules contain active folic acid Quatrefolic®, which the body can take full advantage of.

Folate deficiency during pregnancy is a risk factor for neural tube defects. The neural tube is where the baby's brain and spinal cord develop. To avoid serious complications in the baby's development, experts recommend timely supplementation with folic acid through dietary supplements at least three months before the planned conception and throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.

As many as 40% of pregnant women have anemia, which is most often caused by iron deficiency. Signs of iron deficiency can include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, hair loss, and cracks in the corners of the mouth.

Novalac prenatal capsules contain microencapsulated iron Lipofer®, which allows for good absorption of iron into the blood, does not irritate the stomach and does not have an unpleasant metallic taste. Microencapsulation is a technological process in which iron is wrapped in a special shell.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) belongs to a group of omega-3 fatty acids that the body can not produce, but should be taken into the body through diet or supplements.

During pregnancy and lactation DHA affects:

  • optimal cognitive development of the child,
  • optimal development of the child's eyes and
  • reducing the risk of premature birth.
