The main ingredient in every Imunoglukan P4H product is the natural patented Imunoglukan, whose immunomodulatory effect is confirmed by clinical research. Vitamin C plays a role in the functioning of the immune system and in protecting cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Imunoglukan has an immunomodulatory effect – it regulates the immune system's response in order to achieve balance in the body. This means that it stimulates a "dormant" immune system and calms an "overactive" immune system (e.g. in allergies).

The active substance beta- (1,3 / 1,6) -D-glucan or beta-glucan for short was isolated from oyster mushroom (Pleuratus ostreatus). Beta-glucan is a polysaccharide that is not broken down in the body and behaves like cellulose because the body cannot digest it. Thus, the task of beta-glucans is to activate the action of immune cells (macrophages, monocytes and neutrophils) in the small intestine in the so-called Peyer's patches (lymph tissue in the small intestine).
