Ialuxid gel – a unique combination of ingredients

IALUXID: IMPETIGO

Impetigo is a purulent inflammation of the surface layer of the skin, i.e. the epidermis. It can be caused by one of two bacteria: group A streptococcus or staphylococcus aureus. Although the disease can affect any part of the body, it most often appears on exposed parts of the skin. The disease most often affects children, and its occurrence is favored by an environment with low hygiene standards. Thus, in children, the disease most often appears on the face, especially around the nose and mouth, and on the legs and arms.

IALUXID: WATER WARTS (MOLLUSCS)

MOLLUSCA is an infectious skin disease caused by the pox virus. They most often occur in children with dry skin (atopic patients), while they are less common in adults. In addition to dry skin, the spread of infection is favored by a warm, moist environment (swimming pools) and inadequate hygiene. Pox virus has a strong affinity for the epidermis of the skin. The incubation period (the period that passes from contact with the virus to infection) is short and amounts to 14 to 50 days. In children, the most common transmission of infection is through direct contact; in adults sexually. A damaged skin barrier, such as dryness in atopic patients, contributes to the easier transmission of infection. Molluscs have a typical appearance: hard, skin-colored protrusions, 3-5 mm in diameter, with a central depression. They most often appear grouped on the trunk, arms and legs. In patients with weakened immunity (HIV, etc.), individual molluscs can be larger than 15 mm in diameter.
