Iron deficiency
Among the many types of anemia, iron deficiency anemia (sideropenic anemia) is the most common, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding (75-95% of all anemias during pregnancy). Iron deficiency it is present in 20% of women. Due to the high frequency of iron deficiency anemia, it is a significant public health problem.
Iron
Iron is one of the most common metals in nature - it is 4,7% in the earth's crust. This soft metal, silver-white in color, is most often found in ores, and is rarely found in a pure aggregate state.
Iron pedolat
Iron is found in the form of an organic complex - iron pidolate, of natural origin, which ensures that iron does not react with other nutrients and does not form difficult-to-solve complexes, thus ensuring a relatively high bioavailability and absorption of iron.
Vitamin C
In order to increase the absorption of iron, it is recommended to take a vitamin C supplement or combine it with food rich in vitamin C. The main problem is that this food is usually seasonal, so it is often difficult to find it in the winter months.
Copper
Copper is a trace element that is part of many enzymes. It is needed for the incorporation of hemoglobin into red blood cells, contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and protects cells from oxidative stress. Lack of copper can cause anemia, because an insufficient amount of copper causes poor absorption of iron and a decrease in the number of blood cells.
Vitamin B12 and folic acid
Vitamin B12 and folic acid are B complex vitamins that are important for DNA synthesis and the production of red blood cells in the bone marrow. A lack of vitamin B12 and/or folic acid leads to abnormal cell division in the bone marrow that results in large numbers of immature red blood cells called megaloblasts that are unable to adequately transport oxygen.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6, pyridoxine is one of the B vitamins necessary for the proper functioning of the metabolism of amino acids (proteins), sugar and fat, as well as for the normal formation of red blood cells. All the vitamins of the B group, or as they are often called the B vitamin complex, allow energy to be released from sugar. Together with vitamin B12 and folic acid, vitamin B6 controls the level of homocysteine in the blood - an amino acid whose values in the blood are increased in heart diseases.
Cycle
Beetroot is a root vegetable with a striking dark red color that is often consumed throughout the year. This favorite, available and above all healthy food is most often associated with a favorable effect on immunity, and is one of the most famous folk remedies for anemia.
Cupina
Through research, scientists have come to the conclusion that blackberries help the human body in many ways, from being useful as a source of vitamins and minerals, to ingredients that help fight cancer.
Cherry
Like other fruits, cherries are low in fat and calories, and enriched with vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, vitamin B and potassium. Cherries contain a plant pigment that is a powerful antioxidant in the prevention of heart diseases and tumors.
