Turmeric is a plant from the ginger family that grows mainly in South Asia. Although it is best known as a spice, research is increasingly pointing to its medicinal effects (the active ingredient of turmeric, curcumin, is responsible for this).
Contains 50% curcumin and 50% other active ingredients of turmeric root.
