What is Bioapifit Antiatopic ointment used for?

Bioapifit antiatopic ointment is intended for adults of both sexes and children over 12 years of age to relieve signs/symptoms such as dry skin, impaired epidermal barrier function, itching, peeling, burning, redness, increased skin pH associated with chronic, non-infectious inflammatory skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, perioral dermatitis, psoriasis vulgaris, erythrodermic psoriasis, lichen planus I.

How does Bioapifit anti-atopic ointment work?

Thanks to ingredients with moisturizing, humectant, softening, soothing, pH-adjusting and coating effects, the ointment creates a protective layer on damaged skin that alleviates the symptoms of non-infectious inflammatory skin diseases by preventing contact with the skin. pathogens and allergens with a damaged skin barrier and prevents transepidermal water loss and, consequently, drying of the skin.

Furthermore, the ointment promotes the restoration of the epidermal barrier function by optimizing skin hydration, preventing transepidermal water loss and lowering the skin's pH towards a healthy range. The product removes the flaky surface of the skin with the softening action of macerates and vegetable oils.

The humectant, soothing and softening effect of glycerin and honey in combination with vegetable oils and oil macerates relieves flaking, burning, redness and itching.

Summary of clinical trial results: After 28 days of treatment of a patient with Psoriasis vulgaris Bioapifit anti-atopic ointment there was a decrease in the total PASI score between 82,2 and 99,4% (91,5±4,9%). At the end of the treatment, the total PASI score decreased from the initial value of 32,8±13,1 to 2,9±1,2. Clinical cure defined as more than 90% reduction in total PASI score was observed in 70% of patients, while the other 30% of cases were classified as clinical improvement.

After treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis with Bioapifit anti-atopic ointment, the total SCORAD index decreased from 35,9±15,0 to 3,3±4,6. How to use

Apply the ointment to the affected areas of the skin 5-6 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the type of disease and the severity of the symptoms. The product can be used for 28 consecutive days.
