Granulox® is a spray that enables tissue oxygenation, and is used for the treatment of chronic wounds, including diabetic foot, venous and arterial ulcers, post-surgical and traumatic wounds, pressure ulcers and burns.
Chronic wounds are usually characterized by a below-average oxygen supply to the affected tissue. When Granulox sprayed on the wound, highly purified hemoglobin is released. It binds with oxygen from the environment and brings it through the exudate from the wound surface to the base of the wound by diffusion and helps in wound healing. The only prerequisite is that the cause of the disease is treated in accordance with the doctor's instructions. In the case of arterially caused chronic wounds, the possibilities for improving circulation must be exhausted.
